Uncle Dunkel pays tribute to the great Bavarian brewery of Andechs. Since 1455, the Benedictine monks of the rolling hills of Ammersee have brewed and sought enlightenment. Their monastic brewing tradition has resulted in the finest beer possible. We used only the highest quality German malt, Andechs lager yeast, and noble hops to achieve a highly balanced, drinkable beer. Our greatest hope is that Uncle Dunkel will approve. Prost!
